Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Mpunzi Transport (Pty) Ltd. By using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- Company: Mpunzi Transport (Pty) Ltd, referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.”
- Client: Any person or entity using our services, referred to as “you” or “your.”
- Services: The transport and logistics solutions provided by Mpunzi Transport (Pty) Ltd.
2. Service Agreement
- All transport services are subject to availability and must be pre-booked.
- Quotes provided are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
- By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms and the terms specified in any service agreement or quote.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure all goods for transport are properly packaged and labelled.
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding the type of goods, destination, and delivery requirements.
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your transport requirements.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made in full before services are rendered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include EFT.
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
5. Liability
- Mpunzi Transport (Pty) Ltd takes every precaution to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods. However, we are not liable for:
- Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather, accidents, or road closures.
- Loss, damage, or delays caused by improper packaging or incomplete client-provided information.
- In case of loss or damage directly caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the value of the transport fee.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled service date to qualify for a refund.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled service date.
7. Prohibited Goods
We do not transport prohibited or hazardous materials, including but not limited to:
- Explosives or flammable substances
- Illegal goods or substances
- Items not disclosed during the booking process
If prohibited goods are found, the transport agreement will be terminated immediately, and legal action may follow.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle all personal and business information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination of Service
Mpunzi Transport (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to terminate services if:
- You breach any terms of this agreement.
- The goods for transport violate any laws or regulations.
- We determine that continuing the service poses a risk to our personnel or assets.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved under South African law.
11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
